अवैध पिस्टल के मामले में अभियुक्त को मिली जमानत

अपर मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट प्रवीण कुमार की अदालत ने थाना कोतवाली में दर्ज गंभीर आपराधिक मामले में अभियुक्त सुमित यादव पुत्र बाबूलाल की ओर से प्रस्तुत जमानत प्रार्थना पत्र को स्वीकार कर लिया। अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध थाना कोतवाली में धारा 3/25/29 आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज था।

👉 मामले के अनुसार, बीते 4 अगस्त 2025 को थाना कोतवाली पुलिस टीम प्रभारी निरीक्षक पीयूष कुमार के नेतृत्व में शांति व्यवस्था ड्यूटी पर तैनात थी। इस दौरान मुखबिर से सूचना मिली कि दो व्यक्ति हरिश्चन्द्र पार्क स्थित पोखरे के पीछे अवैध असलहा लिए घटना कारित करने की फिराक में बैठे हैं। सूचना पर विश्वास करते हुए पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और घेराबंदी कर दोनों युवकों को पकड़ लिया।

👉 पकड़े गए व्यक्तियों की पहचान सुमित यादव (23 वर्ष) निवासी हरतीरथ, थाना कोतवाली तथा मन्नू साव (22 वर्ष) निवासी तुलसीपुर, थाना भेलूपुर के रूप में हुई। तलाशी के दौरान सुमित यादव के पास से एक अदद 32 बोर की अवैध पिस्टल और एक रियलमी मोबाइल फोन बरामद किया गया। वहीं मन्नू साव के पास से 2000 रुपये नकद, 03 जीवित कारतूस (KF 7.65 एमएम) और एक मोबाइल फोन बरामद हुआ।

👉 पूछताछ में मन्नू साव ने पुलिस को बताया कि उसने रौब जमाने के उद्देश्य से सुमित यादव से 10,000 रुपये में पिस्टल खरीदने की बात तय की थी। जिसमें से 8,000 रुपये पहले ही दिए जा चुके थे और शेष 2,000 रुपये उसी दिन सौंपे गए थे। वहीं सुमित यादव ने स्वीकार किया कि पिता के इलाज के लिए धन की आवश्यकता के चलते वह पिस्टल बेच रहा था।

👉 बरामद असलहा और कारतूसों का कोई लाइसेंस प्रस्तुत न करने पर दोनों अभियुक्तों को पुलिस ने धारा 3/25/29 आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत गिरफ्तार किया। मौके पर बरामदगी की वीडियोग्राफी कराई गई और फर्द बरामदगी तैयार कर अभियुक्तों को थाने भेजा गया।

👉 फिलहाल अदालत ने सुमित यादव की जमानत प्रार्थना स्वीकार कर उसे राहत प्रदान की है।

Bail granted to an accused in an illegal pistol case

The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Praveen Kumar has accepted the bail application presented by the accused Sumit Yadav, son of Babulal, in a serious criminal case registered at Kotwali police station. A case was registered against the accused under Section 3/25/29 of the Arms Act at Kotwali police station.

Details of the Case

 * According to the case: On August 4, 2025, a team from the Kotwali police station, led by SHO Piyush Kumar, was on law and order duty. During this time, they received a tip-off that two people were sitting behind the pond at Harishchandra Park with illegal weapons and were planning to commit a crime. Acting on the information, the police team reached the spot, surrounded the area, and apprehended both young men.

 * Identities of the Accused: The arrested individuals were identified as Sumit Yadav (23) of Haritirath, Kotwali police station, and Mannu Sav (22) of Tulsipur, Bhelupur police station. During a search, an illegal .32 bore pistol and a Realme mobile phone were recovered from Sumit Yadav. From Mannu Sav, ₹2,000 in cash, three live cartridges (KF 7.65 MM), and a mobile phone were recovered.

 * Interrogation: During interrogation, Mannu Sav told the police that he had agreed to buy the pistol from Sumit Yadav for ₹10,000 to show off. Of this amount, ₹8,000 had already been paid, and the remaining ₹2,000 were handed over on the same day. Sumit Yadav admitted that he was selling the pistol because he needed money for his father's treatment.

 * Arrest: Since no license was produced for the recovered weapon and cartridges, the police arrested both accused under Section 3/25/29 of the Arms Act. Videography of the recovery was conducted on the spot, a recovery memo was prepared, and the accused were sent to the police station.

 * Bail Granted: The court has now granted bail to Sumit Yadav, providing him relief.
