 पुलिस ने सिगरा व लक्सा क्षेत्र में छापेमारी कर 26 साइबर आरोपितों को किया था गिरफ्तार

फर्जी कॉल सेंटर चलाकर ठगी करने वाले 26 साइबर आरोपियों को कोर्ट से राहत मिल गई। मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट मनीष कुमार की अदालत ने किशन झा, शुभम राय, नीतीश कुमार राय, पवन कुमार पाण्डेय, शुभम जायसवाल, ज्ञानेंद्र राय, सूर्यांश गुप्ता, चंदन पाण्डेय समेत 26 आरोपियों को 25-25 हजार रुपए की दो जमानतें एवं बंधपत्र देने पर रिहा करने का आदेश दिया।

👉 प्रकरण के अनुसार डीसीपी क्राइम सरवणन टी को सूचना मिली कि लक्सा व सिगरा थाना क्षेत्र में कुछ शातिर साइबर अपराधी शेयर मार्केट में ट्रेडिंग और इंवेस्टमेंट के नाम पर ठगी करते है। इसके अलावा इन आरोपियों द्वारा लोगों को ऑनलाइन इंवेस्टमेंट के अलग-अलग टिप्स देने के नाम पर फ्रॉड वीडियो और गलत टिप्स भेजकर क्यूआर कोड और ऑनलाइन पेमेंट के जरिए अलग-अलग तरीके से पैसे ऐंठते थे। ये सभी एंजल कंपनी में डीमैट अकाउंट खुलवाने के नाम पर फ्रॉड किया जाता था। जिसके बाद साइबर सेल के साथ ही सिगरा और लक्सा थाने की संयुक्त पुलिस टीम गठित कर छापेमारी की गई। छापेमारी के दौरान कुल 26 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। तलाशी में आरोपियों के पास से 54 मोबाइल फोन, लैपटॉप और भारी मात्रा में चेकबुक, एटीएम कार्ड समेत अन्य महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज बरामद किया गया। बताया जाता है कि एनसीआरबी के टोटल 57 कंप्लेंट पोर्टल पर दर्ज हुई थी। जिसकी छानबीन में पता चला कि वाराणसी में फ्रॉड कॉल सेंटर करीब दो साल से संचालित था। जिनमें इन आरोपियों की संलिप्तता मिली थी। इस गैंग के सदस्य दक्षिण भारतीय राज्य जैसे तमिलनाडु, केरल, कर्नाटक और पश्चिम भारत के गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र के लोगों को ज्यादा टारगेट कर रहे थे।

26 cyber accused who were running a fake call center and scamming people have been granted relief by the court. The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Manish Kumar ordered the release of 26 accused, including Kishan Jha, Shubham Rai, Nitish Kumar Rai, Pawan Kumar Pandey, Shubham Jaiswal, Gyanendra Rai, Suryansh Gupta, and Chandan Pandey, on two bails and bonds of ₹25,000 each.

👉 According to the case, DCP Crime Saravanan T. received a tip-off that some notorious cybercriminals were scamming people in the Luxa and Sigra police station areas in the name of share market trading and investment. In addition, these accused used to extort money from people through QR codes and online payments by sending them fraudulent videos and fake tips in the name of providing various online investment tips. All of this fraud was done in the name of opening Demat accounts in Angel Company. A joint police team from Cyber Cell, Sigra, and Luxa police stations was then formed and a raid was conducted. A total of 26 accused were arrested during the raid. 54 mobile phones, laptops, and a large number of checkbooks, ATM cards, and other important documents were recovered from the accused during the search. It is said that a total of 57 complaints were registered on the NCRB portal. The investigation revealed that the fraudulent call center had been operating in Varanasi for about two years and these accused were found to be involved. The members of this gang were mostly targeting people from South Indian states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and West Indian states of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
