अपर सत्र न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश देवकांत शुक्ला की अदालत ने थाना कैंट में दर्ज गैर-इरादतन हत्या के प्रयास से संबंधित एक मामले में आरोपित मायाशंकर यादव, विजयशंकर यादव व रमाशंकर यादव निवासी हुकुलगंज, थाना लालपुर पांडेयपुर की ओर से दायर अग्रिम जमानत प्रार्थना पत्र को स्वीकार कर लिया।

अभियोजन के अनुसार, वादी संतोष कुमार यादव निवासी ग्राम हुकुलगंज ने आरोप लगाया कि वह दिनांक 24 अगस्त 2023 को अपने भाई संदीप कुमार यादव के साथ किसी शिकायत के सिलसिले में कमिश्नर वाराणसी के कार्यालय गया था। उसी दौरान विपक्षीगण—मायाशंकर, विजयशंकर, आनंदशंकर, सुजीत कुमार, रमाशंकर तथा छह अज्ञात व्यक्तियों—ने पुरानी रंजिश के चलते उन्हें रोकने और मारपीट करने का प्रयास किया। वादी के अनुसार, हमलावरों ने लात-घूसे और ईंट-पत्थर से हमला किया, जिससे उसे हल्की चोटें आईं जबकि उसके भाई संदीप कुमार यादव गंभीर रूप से घायल होकर बेहोश हो गया। बाद में उसे दीनदयाल अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।वादी ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि विपक्षीगण दबंग और प्रभावशाली हैं तथा उनमें से एक अभियुक्त आनंदशंकर यादव पुलिस विभाग में तैनात है और अपनी सरकारी हैसियत का दुरुपयोग कर परिवार को निरंतर धमकी और उत्पीड़न कर रहा है।

Anticipatory Bail Granted to Accused in Attempted Culpable Homicide Case

Varanasi. 

The court of Additional Sessions Judge Devkant Shukla accepted the anticipatory bail application filed by the accused Mayashankar Yadav, Vijayshankar Yadav, and Ramashankar Yadav, residents of Hukulganj, Police Station Lalpur Pandeypur, in a case related to attempted culpable homicide registered at Cantt Police Station. Senior Criminal Advocate Harishankar Singh effectively argued on behalf of the defense in court.

According to the prosecution, the complainant, Santosh Kumar Yadav, a resident of Hukulganj village, alleged that on August 24, 2023, he went to the office of the Commissioner, Varanasi, with his brother Sandeep Kumar Yadav regarding a complaint. During that time, the opposing parties—Mayashankar, Vijayshankar, Anandshankar, Sujit Kumar, Ramashankar, and six unknown persons—attempted to stop and assault them due to an old rivalry. According to the complainant, the attackers assaulted them with kicks, fists, bricks, and stones, causing minor injuries to him, while his brother Sandeep Kumar Yadav was seriously injured and fell unconscious. He was later admitted to Deendayal Hospital. The complainant also alleged that the opposing parties are powerful and influential, and one of the accused, Anandshankar Yadav, is posted in the Police Department and is continuously threatening and harassing the family by misusing his official position.
