आटो सवारियों के पर्स चोरी के मामले में आरोपी को राहत

सत्र न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश संजीव शुक्ला की अदालत ने थाना लंका क्षेत्र के एक गंभीर आपराधिक मामले में आरोपी मुख्तार उर्फ गुजरू पुत्र गुलाम अहमद, निवासी सिंहावीर गोलाघाट, थाना रामनगर, के जमानत प्रार्थना पत्र को स्वीकार कर लिया।

घटना का विवरण

👉 अभियोजन के अनुसार वादी संजय कुमार तिवारी दिनांक 06 अक्टूबर 2025 की सुबह अपनी पत्नी व बेटी के साथ मुरारी चौक की ओर जा रहे थे। घर से लगभग 50 मीटर दूरी पर एक आटो रिक्शा आया, जिसमें चालक सहित दो व्यक्ति बैठे थे। पत्नी व बेटी पीछे बैठीं, जबकि वादी को आगे बैठा दिया गया।

👉 आरोप है कि रास्ते भर आटो चालक बार-बार वादी के पर्स पर हाथ मारता रहा। मुरारी चौक पहुंचने पर जब वादी ने किराया देने के लिए पर्स तलाशा तो वह गायब था। वादी को उतारकर आटो चालक व उसका साथी मौके से फरार हो गए। पर्स में 8,000 रुपये नकद व महत्वपूर्ण कागजात मौजूद थे।

गिरफ्तारी व बरामदगी

विवेचना के दौरान 07 अक्टूबर 2025 को मुखबिर की सूचना पर आटो सवार दो संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। पकड़े गए व्यक्तियों ने अपना नाम मुख्तार उर्फ गुजरू और बसन्त कुमार बताया। पूछताछ में दोनों ने स्वीकार किया कि वे नशे के आदी हैं तथा आटो में बैठने वाली सवारियों के पर्स और मूल्यवान सामान चोरी कर नशे के लिए धन जुटाते हैं। जामा तलाशी में बसन्त कुमार की जेब से मय पर्स और रुपए बरामद हूआ, जिन्हें चोरी की रकम बताया गया।

मुकदमा दर्ज

वादी की तहरीर पर थाना लंका में बीएनएस की धारा 305-बी व 317(2) के तहत मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया गया था।

Accused Gets Relief in Case of Purse Theft from Auto Passengers

The court of Sessions Judge Sanjeev Shukla accepted the bail application of the accused Mukhtar alias Gujru, son of Ghulam Ahmed, resident of Sinhavir Golaghat, Thana Ramnagar, in a serious criminal case within the jurisdiction of Lanka police station.

"In court, criminal advocates Shrikant Prajapati and Parag Kumar effectively argued on behalf of the defense."

Details of the Incident

👉 According to the prosecution, on the morning of October 6, 2025, the plaintiff, Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, was going towards Murari Chowk with his wife and daughter. About 50 meters from their home, an auto-rickshaw arrived, occupied by the driver and one other person. His wife and daughter sat in the back, while the plaintiff was made to sit in the front.

👉 It is alleged that throughout the journey, the auto driver repeatedly hit his hand against the plaintiff's wallet. Upon reaching Murari Chowk, when the plaintiff searched for his wallet to pay the fare, it was missing. After dropping off the plaintiff, the auto driver and his companion fled the scene. The wallet contained ₹8,000 in cash and important documents.

Arrest and Recovery

During the investigation, based on an informant's tip on October 7, 2025, two suspects from the auto were arrested. The arrested individuals identified themselves as Mukhtar alias Gujru and Basant Kumar. During questioning, both admitted that they are drug addicts and raise money for drugs by stealing wallets and valuables from passengers in their auto. Upon conducting a body search (jama talashi), the wallet and money were recovered from Basant Kumar's pocket, which was identified as the stolen amount.

Case Registered

Based on the plaintiff's complaint, a case was registered at Lanka police station under sections 305-B and 317(2) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita).
