सराफा कारोबारी को मिली जमानत,10 लाख से अधिक के जेवरात हुए थे बरामद

जवाहर नगर एक्सटेंशन में रहने वाली महिला के घर से लाखों के जेवरात चोरी करने के मामले में सराफा कारोबारी को बड़ी राहत मिल गई। न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट (द्वितीय) प्रियल शर्मा की अदालत ने खोजवा, भेलूपुर निवासी सराफा कारोबारी विपिन सेठ को 25-25 हजार रुपए की दो जमानतें एवं बंधपत्र देने पर रिहा करने का आदेश दिया है।

👉 अभियोजन पक्ष के अनुसार जवाहर नगर एक्सटेंशन निवासी सीमा गिनोडिया ने 22 अक्टूबर 2025 को भेलूपुर थाने में प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराई थी। आरोप था कि 18 अक्टूबर को उसके घर में रखी उनकी आलमारी का चाभी चोरी कर लाखों के जेवर पार कर दिए गए हैं। उन्होंने उनके घर काम करने वाली नौकरानी गुंजा साहनी नामक महिला पर शक जताया था। इस मामले में पुलिस ने गूंजा के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर विवेचना शुरू की। विवेचना के दौरान पुलिस ने गुंजा साहनी, उसके पति आशीष साहनी व उनके निशानदेही पर सराफा कारोबारी विपिन सेठ को गिरफ्तार कर चोरी हुए करीब दस लाख रुपए से अधिक के जेवरात बरामद किए थे। पूछताछ में गुंजा ने बताया कि वह पहले सीमा के यहां काम करती थी, बाद में उसे निकाल दिया गया। उसे पता था कि जेवर कहां रखा जाता है। दूसरी बार काम मांगने के बहाने पहुंची और चाभी चोरी कर पांच मिनट में ही गहने समेट कर अपने पति के साथ चली गई। जिसे बाद में उसके पति ने सराफा कारोबारी विपिन सेठ को बेचा था। उधर, दीपावली की सफाई के दौरान दूसरी चाभी से आलमारी खोलने पर चोरी की जानकारी हुई तो मामला थाने पहुंचा था।

Jewelry Trader Granted Bail,Jewels Worth Over Ten Lakhs Recovered

Varanasi — 

A jewelry trader has received major relief in a case involving the theft of jewelry worth lakhs from a woman’s house in Jawahar Nagar Extension. Judicial Magistrate (Second) Priyal Sharma’s court ordered the release of Vipin Seth, a jewelry trader from Khojwa, Bhelupur, upon furnishing two sureties of ₹25,000 each and a personal bond.

In court, the defense was represented by senior advocates Anuj Yadav, Anand Tiwari Pankaj, Naresh Yadav, and Sandeep Yadav.

👉 According to the prosecution, Seema Ginodia, a resident of Jawahar Nagar Extension, filed an FIR at Bhelupur police station on October 22, 2025. She alleged that on October 18, jewelry worth lakhs of rupees had been stolen from the almirah in her house by using its key, which had gone missing. She suspected her domestic help, a woman named Gunja Sahni.

👉 During the investigation, police registered a case against Gunja and began inquiry. Subsequently, police arrested Gunja Sahni, her husband Ashish Sahni, and, on their indication, jewelry trader Vipin Seth, recovering jewelry worth more than ten lakh rupees.

👉 During interrogation, Gunja admitted that she had previously worked at Seema’s house but was later dismissed. She knew where the jewelry was kept. She returned on the pretext of asking for work, stole the key, and within five minutes collected the ornaments and left with her husband. Later, her husband sold the stolen jewelry to trader Vipin Seth.

👉 Meanwhile, Seema discovered the theft during Diwali cleaning when she opened the almirah with a spare key, following which she reported the matter to the police.
