अपर सत्र न्यायालय ने थाना राजातालाब में दर्ज एक गंभीर नकली शराब बिक्री के मामले में मुख्य आरोपी विनोद जायसवाल को जमानत प्रदान कर दी है। न्यायमूर्ति देवकांत शुक्ला की अदालत ने आरोपी की ओर से दाखिल जमानत याचिका को स्वीकार करते हुए सुनवाई पूरी की।

👉 मामला 22 जुलाई 2025 को थाना राजातालाब में दर्ज एक छापेमारी से जुड़ा है, जिसमें आबकारी निरीक्षक अमित राज ने एक शराब दुकान पर आकस्मिक निरीक्षण के दौरान कई गंभीर अनियमितताएं पाईं। वादी की तहरीर के अनुसार, निरीक्षण के दौरान विक्रेता केशव प्रसाद ने स्टॉक रजिस्टर प्रस्तुत किया, जो घटनाओं से भरा हुआ पाया गया। स्टॉक सत्यापन में विदेशी मदिरा और बीयर के लेखानुसार और वास्तविक स्टॉक में भारी अंतर सामने आया—जैसे 750 एमएल की 241 बोतलों के बजाय केवल 208, 375 एमएल की 568 के बजाय 503, और इसी तरह अन्य श्रेणियों में 33 से 356 तक की कमी। विक्रेता ने इसे उस दिन की बिक्री बताया, लेकिन जांच में और गहराई से खुलासा हुआ।
👉 दुकान में आइकोनिक व्हाइट व्हिस्की ब्रांड की 5 बोतलें (375 एमएल) ऐसी पाई गईं, जिनके चिपके क्यूआर कोड विभागीय स्कैनर से जांचने पर किंगफिशर एक्स्ट्रा स्पेशल स्ट्रांग बीयर (650 एमएल, 8% वी/वी) के निकले। कड़ी पूछताछ पर विक्रेता ने कबूल किया कि वह इंपीरियल ब्लू, रायल स्टैग और आइकोनिक व्हाइट जैसे ब्रांडों की पुरानी बोतलों को बीनकर और कबाड़ियों से खरीदकर धोता-सुखाता है। फिर इनमें पानी मिलाकर अपमिश्रित शराब तैयार कर नकली ढक्कन लगाता और क्यूआर कोड चिपकाकर बेचता है। यह सब कथित तौर पर अनुज्ञापी विनोद जायसवाल के निर्देश पर होता था, जिससे विक्रेता को अतिरिक्त लाभ होता।
👉 जांच में नकली ढक्कनों की एक पेटी बरामद हुई, जिसमें इंपीरियल ब्लू के 66, रायल स्टेज के 22 और आइकोनिक के 65 ढक्कन थे। इनके आपूर्तिकर्ता के रूप में सोनभद्र निवासी अजय का नाम लिया गया। अपमिश्रित शराब की तीव्रता परीक्षण में भी मानक से काफी कम (32.40% वी/वी बनाम 42.8% वी/वी) पाई गई। कुल 13 बोतलें और 138 नकली ढक्कन जब्त किए गए, जिन्हें सील कर सबूत के रूप में संरक्षित किया गया।
👉 इसी आधार पर थाना राजातालाब में धारा-60 आबकारी अधिनियम, धारा-63 एवं 64 कॉपीराइट एक्ट तथा धारा-318(4) भारतीय न्याय संहिता के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया था। आरोपी विनोद जायसवाल, पुत्र स्व. मोहन लाल जायसवाल, निवासी विशोखर, बच्छांव, थाना रोहनियां, वाराणसी मूल रूप से दुकान के अनुज्ञापी हैं।

✍️✍️ Accused in Illicit Liquor Sale Case Gets Relief from Court

The Additional Sessions Court has granted bail to the main accused, Vinod Jaiswal, in a serious case of illicit liquor sale registered at Raja Talab Police Station. Justice Devkant Shukla's court accepted and completed the hearing on the bail application filed on behalf of the accused.

👉 The case relates to a raid registered at Raja Talab Police Station on July 22, 2025, where Excise Inspector Amit Raj found several serious irregularities during a sudden inspection of a liquor shop. According to the plaintiff's complaint, during the inspection, the vendor, Keshav Prasad, presented the stock register, which was found to be riddled with discrepancies. Stock verification revealed a huge difference between the stated and actual stock of foreign liquor and beer—for example, only 208 bottles of 750 ml instead of 241, 503 bottles of 375 ml instead of 568, and similar shortages ranging from 33 to 356 in other categories. The vendor attributed this to the day's sales, but further investigation revealed more.
👉 Five bottles (375 ml) of the Iconic White Whisky brand were found in the shop, whose attached QR codes, when checked with the departmental scanner, belonged to Kingfisher Extra Special Strong Beer (650 ml, 8% V/V). Under strict questioning, the vendor confessed that he would collect used bottles of brands like Imperial Blue, Royal Stag, and Iconic White by picking them up and buying them from scrap dealers, then wash and dry them. He would then prepare adulterated liquor by mixing water, affix counterfeit caps, and paste QR codes to sell it. This was all allegedly done on the instructions of the licensee, Vinod Jaiswal, which resulted in extra profit for the vendor.
👉 The investigation recovered a carton of counterfeit caps, which included 66 of Imperial Blue, 22 of Royal Stag, and 65 of Iconic. Ajay, a resident of Sonbhadra, was named as their supplier. The intensity test of the adulterated liquor was also found to be significantly lower than the standard (32.40% V/V vs. 42.8% V/V). A total of 13 bottles and 138 counterfeit caps were seized, sealed, and preserved as evidence.
👉 Based on this, a case was registered at Raja Talab Police Station under Section-60 of the Excise Act, Sections-63 and 64 of the Copyright Act, and Section-318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused, Vinod Jaiswal, son of late Mohan Lal Jaiswal, resident of Vishokhar, Bachhaw, Police Station Rohaniya, Varanasi, is originally the licensee of the shop.
