सत्र न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश जयप्रकाश तिवारी की अदालत ने थाना भेलूपुर में दर्ज चेन स्नैचिंग के गंभीर मामले में आरोपी आर्यन गुप्ता निवासी शिवदासपुर, लहरतारा थाना मंडुवाडीह की ओर से दाखिल जमानत प्रार्थना पत्र को स्वीकार कर लिया।
👉अदालत में बचाव पक्ष की ओर से फौजदारी अधिवक्ता श्रीकांत प्रजापति और पराग कुमार ने तर्क रखते हुए कहा कि अभियुक्त को झूठा फंसाया गया है तथा घटना का कोई स्वतंत्र गवाह मौजूद नहीं है। अभियुक्त 14 जुलाई 2025 से जेल में निरुद्ध है।
👉वहीं, जिला शासकीय अधिवक्ता ने जमानत का जोरदार विरोध करते हुए अभियुक्त के खिलाफ सात अन्य आपराधिक मामलों का हवाला दिया।
👉अदालत ने दोनों पक्षों की दलीलें सुनने और प्रपत्रों के अवलोकन के बाद कहा कि बिना गुण-दोष पर टिप्पणी किए अभियुक्त को सशर्त जमानत पर रिहा किया जाना उचित है।

Court Grants Relief: Accused Gets Bail in Chain Snatching Case

The court of Sessions Judge Jaiprakash Tiwari accepted the bail application filed by the accused, Aryan Gupta, a resident of Shivdaspur, Lahartara, under Manduadih police station, in a serious chain-snatching case registered at Bhelupur police station.
Arguments and Decision
👉 The defense counsel, criminal advocates Srikant Prajapati and Parag Kumar, argued in court that the accused had been falsely implicated and that there was no independent witness to the incident. They stated that the accused had been in jail since July 14, 2025.
👉 In response, the District Government Counsel strongly opposed the bail, citing seven other criminal cases against the accused.
👉 After hearing arguments from both sides and reviewing the documents, the court decided that it was appropriate to release the accused on conditional bail without commenting on the merits of the case.
